Ride For Trails Launches New Website
May 31, 2011
The 14th Annual Ride for Trails has a new website for this years’ ride. The new website contains up-to-date information and offers a wealth of information for visiting riders. In addition, it is maintained by a Big Bend resident and content will remain current.
Riders will be able to access area information (day rides, hiking, eating, lodging, other destinations, Park programs, etc.), ride information (schedule of events, ride route, Ride for Trails history, official poster, etc.), vendor and sponsor information, relevant news/announcements, and more. Persons interested in volunteering at the Ride for Trails can also sign up through the ‘Volunteer Opportunities’ page.
In addition, the new website offers on-line registration (through PayPal), donation capacity, a store and, shortly before the Ride and Rally on October 14-15, 2011, will have a registration packet available complete with schedule of events, ride route, maps, and other relevant information.
With the new website and a concerted effort to attract more sponsors and promote the event more widely, Ride for Trails hopes to reach the maximum capacity of 300 riders before the event and raise meaningful funds for the Trails Program in Big Bend National Park.
Ride for Trails thanks Mark Hannan and Nectar Computers in Apline, Texas for their many years of pro bono website services.
