Register For Ride For Trails

The Annual Ride for Trails in Big Bend National Park, now in its 14th year, is a fundraiser to support the trails program. Over 13 years, the Ride for Trails has raised nearly $100,000 to improve trails, purchase equipment and encourage local employment by providing stipends for internships for area youth to work on a Park trail crew.

Fees for the 14th Annual Ride for Trails are: $35 single rider/$60 two riders. Payment is accepted online via PayPal (at the bottom of this page) or via check/money order. Please make check/money order payable to ‘Ride for Trails’ and mail to: Ride for Trails, P.O. Box 114, Big Bend National Park, TX 79834.

Space permitting, same day registration is permitted at event headquarters (Study Butte Party Barn, 100 Main Street, Terlingua, TX) until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15th, 2011.

All registered riders must check-in at event headquarters (Study Butte Party Barn, 100 Main Street, Terlingua, TX) and sign a liability waiver before the “last bike out” deadline of 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15th, 2011.

Registration fee includes the following:
• Waiver of the $20 motorcycle entrance fee to Big Bend National Park
• Participation in the 14th Annual Ride for Trails and Poker Run
• Participation in the 14th Annual Motorcycle Rally
• Bar-B-Q Dinner on Saturday Night at the Study Butte Party Barn (event headquarters)
• Live Music on Friday and Saturday Nights at the Study Butte Party Barn (event headquarters)
• Reduced rate lodging at the Big Bend Adventures Resort
• Discounted meals at participating area restaurants
• 2011 Ride for Trails Commemorative Lapel Pin

Please note: The Ride for Trails in Big Bend National Park is no longer affiliated with its non-profit sponsor and has not yet received autonomous non-profit designation from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Therefore, registration fees and/or donations to the Ride for Trails are not tax-deductable.
