Big Bend National Park is the largest expanse of roadless public lands in Texas. With more than 800,000 acres of protected space, there are more than 200 miles of trails that offer opportunities for day hikes or overnight backpacking trips. Annually, nearly 400,000 people visit the Park, marvelling at its unique size, remoteness and exceptional diversity of plants and animals.

The Annual Ride for Trails in Big Bend National Park, now in its 14th year, is a fundraiser to support the trails program. Over 13 years, the Ride for Trails has raised nearly $100,000 to improve trails, purchase equipment and encourage local employment by providing stipends for internships for area youth to work on a Park trail crew.

The Ride for Trails also offers an opportunity for motorcyclists across the state, region and country to visit one of Texas' most amazing natural resources, bring additional tourism the communities of Brewster County (Study Butte, Terlingua, Lajitas, Marathon and Alpine) and promote the area and its residents and businesses.

Sponorships begin with donations of $300.00. All sponsors are greatly appreciated and recognized on Ride for Trails materials, T-shirts and website.
