Whether you are an experienced or new biker, you won't want to miss the 11th annual "Ride for Trails" motorcycle road rally, which will happen on the weekend of October 17-19, 2008. "Ride for Trails" has been popular, with participation growing more than 160 percent a year since thirty-five riders attended the first rally in 1998. This year more than 400 riders are expected. "Part of this growth is because of the awesome beauty of Big Bend and its curving mountain and open-desert roads our riders so enjoy," said Don Sharlow, a Friend and organizer of the event. "Another factor is that the rally is so much fun and a place where friends reunite year after year," he said.
